Baby's Grown Up?

When you first find out that you're expecting, the excitement and levity surrounding the pregnancy can overshadow the less fun, administrative, and practical details of the coming event. Here's what you should keep in mind during these 9 months:
The first thing you need to establish is what kind of helper you are looking for. Would you prefer someone who has masses of experience caring for children, or do you want someone with little or no experience, but can be trained to do things to your own preferences? Registering the birth of your baby is a fairly simple process in Hong Kong. The hospital should give you a birth return (a document that records the baby’s birth) and automatically sends a registration to the birth registry, which is run by the Hong Kong Immigration Services. Upon the receipt of the documents by the registrar, which typically takes two weeks, you can make an appointment at the Births and Deaths General Register Office.
