This workshop will prepare parents, grandparents and other caregivers in the rewarding choice to raise their children bilingually and/or multilingually. Included is an overview of research on the advantages and difficulties of raising a child with two languages, tips and strategies on getting started, activities for developing language and keeping multilingualism alive in your family There will be opportunities for participant discussion and answers to frequently asked questions.
