Annerley - Domestic Helpers and baby/toddler care course

Domestic Helpers - baby/toddler care and safety classes

6 x 2 hour sessions that include:

Basic baby care and hygiene
Settling your baby and sleep
Safety and Child/ Infant Resuscitation
Nutrition
Development and Play

The aim of these sessions is to develop and promote effective communication, use of initiative and problem solving skills for your helper. The topics are taught weekly in 2 hour blocks over 6 sessions and each participant will receive a handbook containing all the information plus topics to consider prior to each session.  2 sessions of the 6 are used to teach and practise infant CPR and first aid.

Dates for this course are:  7. 8. 14. 15. 21. and 22 and July, from 2 -4 pm.
All classes are held in our centre in Lyndhurst Terrace.
