Established in 1964, FIS follows both the French curriculum and the British curriculum in its International Section. The primary school has over 900 students of mixed nationalities, with 35% of students being part of the International Section.

Children are accepted in September of the year they turn 4 for the international stream and at age 3 for the French. The French/English bilingual kindergarten accepts children from the age of 3
