SWCK has been a wonderful place for my extremely shy son to begin his school experience. In the year he has spent there he has grown from a clingy child to one who is very independent. The inquiry-based teaching methods have been well-suited to his learning style. He is confident, very inquisitive and well-prepared for the demands of big school now. My older children attended a lovely Cantonese-speaking kindergarten before attending international school, but I chose SWCK for my youngest based on the reviews from other parents and observation of their children.

SWCK is a school which takes a personal interest in the students. The emphasis is more on learning through play, experimentation and encouraging independence rather than direct academics. The school has both an outdoor playground and a small indoor play area for bad weather days. The emphasis on christianty is very prominent, so parents who are not christian should be prepared.
