Eyescream & Churros
Tucked away in a side-street in the maze of Hung Hom is Eyescream and Churros, one of the first venues in the city to bring in the heavenly and genius combination of frozen soft-serve ice cream with freshly made Spanish crunchy doughnuts or "churros." Founder Muse Leung, who teaches cooking in Sai Kung brought the idea over to Hong Kong after trying it out in Korea, and good job he did, as Eyescream & Churros has been the talk of the town recently. The churros are deep-fried in vegetable oil so they’re not greasy. They also whip up refreshing shaved ice in 7 flavours.
