Dr Amelia Wong^Popular

i made an appointment dr. wong on the advice of an older chinese woman who had a very positive experience with her. when i booked the visit, i was sure to ask the receptionist multiple times if the doctor could treat my problem (just a small, generic 'lady issue'). i was assured that this wasn't a problem so i made the appointment. when i arrived, dr. wong essentially laughed at me for going to see her vs. a gp and kicked me out of the office in less than 20 seconds. this made me extremely angry because doctor wong was incredibly rude to me despite the fact that it was her own receptionist who had made the error. although she was perfectly capable of treating my problem (any gyn in the states would have), she refused to even look at me -- despite the fact that she charged my insurance her full consultation fee. i would never, ever go near this woman again.
