We took our jaundiced newborn to QM where he spent a number of days in the Special Baby Care ward. This is a very large and well-equipped facility with extremely sympathetic and well-trained staff, far surpassing any other public hospital we have seen (or private, for that matter). It's no secret that QM is the best-funded of all the local public hospitals. For those who care about such things, the fung shui is excellent as the building directly overlooks the harbour to the west. And for what it's worth, Financial Secretary Antony Leung chose to have his baby here.
