Tsan Yuk Hospital^Popular

I delivered here in Oct 2001. The service was quite good. Specifically liked the extended visiting hours from 8 am to 8 pm. Hence my husband could stay with me during my contractions.

I prefer public hospitals than private because, I know if something goes wrong, there are always plenty of capable Drs. available. And public Drs. handle more deliveries than private ones, hence they are more experienced (in my opinion).

On a lighter note, after paying taxes, by going through the public system, I got my taxes refunded !!!

When pregnant in addition to seeing my private Dr, I also registered myself at Tsan Yuk Hospital in case of an emergency. Although the wait sometimes was long for my monthly pre-natal check ups, the Drs were very thorough and helpful and thus made it worthwile. The nurses were easy going and also ready to lend a hand.
