Baby toothpaste

I bought VANDOME strawberry toothpaste for my girl. While she used to enjoy brushing teeth, she begins to refuse. Afterwards, I changed to ORAL baby toothpaste, the situation is not improving. Everyday we have struggle with her, day and night.

Any experience to share? Brand of toothpaste or skills to handle?

Remember you really just need a tiny little bit of toothpaste on the brush. For adults, the recommended amount is "pea-sized", for kids, I would say it's even less. If your daughter doesn't like it, just go without toothpaste. It's the brushing that does the cleaning, not the toothpaste.

My oldest is 4, the twins are 21 months and I have gone through various phases of brushing just fine to not at all, biting the brush, not wanting to spit, etc. My oldest is fine now, but I've seen it all. But it's something that needs to be done, so no matter what, it will happen (and that doesn't always look nice).

Same for washing hair ...

Martha twins how old is your baby? In general I agree with soon2bmom and kinghk, its the brushing that counts not the toothpaste particularly if they are very young and I have brushed my teeth in front of my little one and she follows the leader!
Finally if your baby resists tooth brushing at times, it may be pertinent to leave it for a few days and on the days that she doesn't brush you ensure they have a drink of water before going to bed to decrease the amount of food/milk ect in her mouth and secondly, don't feed her any food within 2 hours of bed time as saliva has natural antibodies which help deal with bacteria.
Hope this helps!
