We are looking for maybe taking a private room in Prince of Wales, I want to see what my experience is with my appointments first before we make the decision.

Hello everyone... i am 11 weeks pregnant and my EDD is 11th March. I am 9 months old in HK and very very confused about the private vs public delivery debate. Currently, i am seeing Dr Ghosh, but don't think i can afford a private hospital delivery. What is everybody else considering? Any suggestions and talk would be helpful. This is my second pregnancy and my first one was about 5 years ago... and i have a little girl already!!

If you have your HK ID card then I would say go public, might not have the same bedside manner as your home country but it is very affordable.
I'm not going to see any private doctors, despite it being my first pregnancy.

Hi PAC,
I know what you mean about the confusion on the systems here! I'm seeing a private Dr at the Women's clinic in central, but planning to deliver in public hospital.
Hoping that the mix will give me the pre-birth reassurance but without having to go private the whole way, crazy prices.

Hi there
I'm due in March and was wondering if anyone has been working out and what you all recommend? I have low motivation for excersise at the best of times so it's been a headache to start!
Let me know if anyone keen for walks up the peak or similar!
