| UKlady were you taking any treatment while you were in UK? Did the doctor there or here do any tests to check whether your hormones were coming under normal levels with treatment?
PCOS is a very patient specific disease, for different levels of hormonal imbalances doctors take differ course of treatment. Maybe the doctor you visited realized you weren't getting any better with Metformin + Clomid and definitely needed injectables.
My doctor told me the same thing when I went to see if treatment was working that I came at the wrong time. And she was right; one has to visit the doctor on the 2nd day of period to check.
And by asking were you trying to get pregnant I think she meant did you try to get pregnant in the last month or so?
Anyways no harm taking a second opinion. |
