Great Ultra sound doctor.
Today me and my husband went to Dr Wong Kar Mau for a 4d ultrasound. We made the appointment on morning and were seen at 5pm same day. He is in Jordan and we went there for our ultrasound. We arrived at 4:55pm and were registered and seen straight away. After basic questions the doctor began the ultrasound and allowed me and my husband to look at various parts of the baby as long as we wanted and explained everything in cantonese to me and english to my husband. Unfortuantely our baby was in a bad position hiding its head so he told us to work and eat something then return. When we returned we were seen after 5 minutes and he was able to tell us we were having a girl and get a clear look at our babies face. After another 20 minutes we left and the charge was $600 and we got 10 photos of our baby and nearly 1 hour looking at the ultrasound. His phone number is 27716556 Dr Wong Kar Mau. The service was brilliant and the doctor was a very nice and helpful guy and i would recommend him to anyone.

Sounds like a awesome doctor nataliekaye, will keep him in mind for the next scan. Nice to not be rushed out the door. Does he give you a DVD copy of the sessions too?
Does anyone know a doctor that gives you a DVD of the session as well as photos? Really keen to get one at my 20 week scan which is not too far away so need to book soon.

So he specifically specializes in ultrasounds? (not just a ob-gyn who has an ultrasound in his office). The doctor we went to at Union hospital says they recommend a fetal anomaly scan at 21 weeks or so, done by a specialist. However Union's specialist is all booked up in the two week period from now (which would be 21 weeks for the baby) so we need to go elsewhere for the fetal anomaly scan. Is the 4D the anomaly scan do you know or is it just a prettier ultrasound?
Thanks.

Went to Dr Wong Kar Mau yesterday, and would highly recommend him. Although extremely busy we both felt that he was thorough, informative and a great manner.
He even kindly congratulated hubby on being a dad - nice touch.
I am not sure if he is a "specialist" for ultrasounds however he took more care and attention of the "baby - 8 1/2 weeks" and checking for any other issues that by memory such things were never checked with our first child in NZ.
Cost $800 incl consult, scan, photos, folic acid, and mild sleeping tablets. This was less than I was expecting.
I certainly am very happy to return.

I went to Dr Wong today and I have to say, my husband and I were very impressed. He was so friendly, happy and relaxed and took a lot of time to show us our baby. We went for a 3D scan and our baby had her hands covering her face. He sent us out for "a coffee and some shopping for baby" and told me to walk up and down some steps if possible.
When we came back he saw us straight away, and we got a great view - even better than the photos he had in the waiting room!
What I really liked is that he included my husband in the general conversation so much more than other doctors we have seen, and although he was obviously busy he didn't rush us. He took time for a chat and a laugh.
We are going through the public system for the delivery, but if I could go private, this is the sort of doctor I would like helping me.
I would highly reccommend Dr Wong based on my experience today.
