I am considering these two brands of high chair for my 5.5 months old son and not sure which one is better. Any comment?

Where can I buy Svan besides Bumps to Babes?

you can get the svan at Mothercare too, but it's about $1000 more expensive. No, I am not kidding, have asked Mothercare why, they said they cannot help it as that's officially how much they have to sell it for from UK pricing.

We have 2 svan chairs for our daughters 2.5 years and 9 months, and we think it's good. Have only tried the Tripp Trapp at Four Seasons hotel and there was no table accessory (may be available if you buy, I dunno), so unsure how it compares. But we found having a table at the front is invaluable when feeding under 2s. Having said that the Tripp Trap looks prettier.

Thanks AndreaY. The one in BTB is $1999 and the one in Mothercare is nearly $3000! Don't know why there is a different.

Is the tray in the front is necessary for baby below 2?

I just found it easier to feed when they are facing me. So i can sit the bowl on the tabletray and also any toys I may want to use to distract/help them eat.
