Hi There,

Hang in there with regards to the breastfeeding, sometimes it does take a while to build up to the amount your baby needs and if he/she isn't falling with regards to their weight and height pecentile charts then you should continue to push on with the BF. If you do think you are having milk production problems you should see a lactation consultant, they may suggest fenugreek which aids milk production.
The other reason for continuing with the BF is that BF babies tend to have less reflux than bottle fed babies. I would suggest sitting your baby upright for 1/2 hour after the feeds and letting them sleep on a slight incline, this helps enormously with reflux (because gravity helps keep the stomach contents in the stomach long enough for your body to process it to the intestines where it is less likely to come back up.
Finally I would ask about obtaining liquid zantac from your paediatrician.
