    Where to donate used toys?

Does anyone know whether Po Leung Ku or Central Library accept donation of used toys? If not, where can I donate them? Or any other place can make good use of baby and toddler toys? Thanks!

The Salvation Army accept used toys. They have a collection centre in Wanchai.

Donate used Kid's stuff to charity organization

“Mama Infantory”, is a social enterprise of HK Workers' Health Centre. As some of you may have little child in infant stage or young kid, their cloths, toys or other accessories becomes unsuitable from time to time. You gays can call them if you could donate such baby stuff, toys & accessories for kids. They are going to collect the products and re-sell them at a lower price for disadvantaged group in Hong Kong. Some of them will be delivered to needy family at free of charge. It is an environmental friendly action for your donation. Most important, your donation will create job opportunities for those who are disabled and help them to regain confidence at work.

They need your generous support and donation, please make a call to the marketing officer - Ms Sally Lam at 2725 5491 for collection matters. You may also know more by browsing the web site: www.hkwhc.org.hk.or send a E-mail to [email protected].

If there is available, please drop off the stuff to the centre, the address is Room 1429, Beverley Commercial Centre, 87-105 Chatham Road South, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon.

You could also contact the 'Home of Loving Faithfulness Oprhanage' in Sheung Shui. I had a friend who had a surplus of toys to donate from a toy company and the orphanage came to pick them up with their own van.

I am sure if the amount is large, Mama Infantory will go to collect as well. no matter any organisations, donate to the charity org will help people in need anyway!

Yes! It is a great organisation. I've been there a couple of times and am always impressed with the people that run it.
