Cash, cheque, or bank transfer - paying your helper

I'm interested to know what method of payment other employers use to pay their helpers.

With the new minimum salary, and the fees banks levy on small deposit savings accounts, are more people switching to cash?

Hi Armstroe

We've always paid our helper in cash. I have a receipt book which she signs when she receives her salary so there can never be any dispute over whether she has received salary or not.

We've always paid our maid cash. Just buy a receipt book and get her to sign when you pay her so that there will be no dispute in future.
