Hi Sharon,
There are a number of excellent docs around and I'm not sure what you would consider to be one, nor do know what your financial/coverage constraints may be, but I will recommend Dr. Arabindha Ghosh who is my ob/gyn. He delivered both of my babies and I continue to see him for my annual check-ups.
If I recall correctly, I think my bill for the the annual was a little over HKD1000.
I find Dr. Ghosh to be knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and urbane. I like him as a person, too.
I don't have a strong recommendation for a gp.
If anyone else, here has one, I'd be interested in finding out.

Oops, I forgot to mention.
I would recommend Dr. Tanpa Thondup as a pede.
His fees are on the high end but I can't recall -- and he is known as one of the best sick baby docs in town.
I could probably take my kids in to see a gp, but I see Thondup because I like his approach: he does not overmedicate, exercises good judgment, is a consummate professional, and enjoys his work (or so it seems to me).
He may strike you as being in a bit of rush; however, if you go armed with questions and your wits about you, he will address all of your questions/concerns.

Hi Sharon,
Personally, I feel that Dr. Derek Lo is very good. He's understanding, gentle and take his time to explains things in details. Definitely worth trying.

I strongly recommend Owens Trodd & Partners. It is a true one stop shop with surgeries in a number of places including Central, Wan Chai and Repulse Bay
Dr Trodd is a family practioner but very experienced with babies and children. He is my sons (7mths) Dr and has been since birth
Dr Sally Ferguson was my Obn/Gyn and absolutely brilliant. I have been seeing her for about 7 years
Dr Annabell Dytham is my general practioner and also great. I have been seeing her for about 5 years.
There are loads of others to choose from but they are my favourites
I hope this helps

I recommend Dr Danni Ting who sees patients at Canossa Hospital as well. She is at Hing Lung Centre, 19th Floor.
Reasonable fees (Consultation around HK400-600) and prescribes good medicine for my daughters, 5yr and 15 mths.
