Speaking of the expense of having a baby in HK...

I was wanting to sometime during the next 2-3 years we'll be there. I have 3 so far and we are from the US.

What are the main differences between private and public, especially in terms of quality and cost? And before the compenstation negotiations are all said and done, what is important as far as health benefits go -- especially to have the baby as comfortably, safely and with as little expense out of our pockets as possible (not necessarily in that order of importance)?
