RESEARCH ON BECOMING PARENTS
I am a professor of sociology at Hong Kong Baptist University,
doing research on why people want or do not want to have children. The research will be published in academic journals.
I am looking for HK Chinese and American interviewees. I conduct the interviews at your convenience- when and where you like. They last about an hour. I will ask how you came to want or not want a child, and what having a child means to you. The interviews are conducted in English but your English does not have to be perfect! My interviewees often tell me they enjoyed the interview.

OR married and hoping to become pregnant for the first time,
OR married and don’t want children, and are a local HK Chinese person or a Westerner, please contact me.
