Mandarin & English Kindergardens
Does anyone know of any good Mandarin & English kindergardens? If possible, are there ones they are linked to primary schools? Either local or international. Anyone know which is better?

Check out Kiangsu & Chekiang at Northpoint. It runs nursery classes up till secondary classes. There is a local and another international section. The local section uses Mandarin as the main teaching medium. English is taught be a Native Speaker everyday for 30 mins.
You may want to consdier the Singapore International School as well.

My son is currently studying in Victoria Nursery (English & Putonghua section) in North Point. There are about 30 students in his class, being taken care of by 3 teachers, a Putonghua teacher, an English teacher and a teaching assistant. The teacher-student ratio is relatively low. Yet with teachers of both languages present, children tend to choose the language they are more comfortable with and adhere to the teacher of that language. Equal emphasis on both languages is often easier said than done, but in terms of language exposure, Victoria won't be a bad choice.
Personally, I prefer sending my son to a school which allows him to acquire native-speaker level of both English and Putonghua. Maybe a trade-off between the two is inevitable. Not too sure about it. Glad if anyone can share their experiences.

Tutor Time
You can also check out Tutor Time in Kowloon Tong or Red Hill. It's 1.5 hrs Mandarin and 1.5 hrs English with native level teachers in both. Classes go up to K2 only - no primary school.

Has anyone heard of the Chinese Intenational School (CIS)?
If so, what do you think of this school or do you know anyone that goes to this school?

Mandarin speaking Kindergartens
You might like to consider Woodlands as they've been around since the 1970's, have 7 locations and run bi-lingual classes in Mandarin & English. They take all nationalities, from 18 mths up and most go on to either local Chinese, ESF or int'l primary schools. If you need more details, let me know!
