We are looking for a playgroup in Tai Po / Fanling Area for our 9 month old daughter. Does anybody know if there is any?

My son goes to Anchors Kindergarten in Tai Wo, they have a nursery section but not sure how young they take in. Call them on 26644133.

We also live in Tai Po, but as our son is only 3.5 months old, we haven't started looking into playgroups yet.

Definitely interested in hearing people's comments for future reference though.

Shaz Thank you very much for your reply yesterday. Called them but found out the minimum age requirement is 1.8 months. I just want my baby to meet more people may be I should look out for mothers' group.

That's quite alright, hey I thought of another one, Early Birds in Tai Po, I think they have baby group. Try them.

Dear shaz, very efficient of you. I checked their no. thru the telephone directory and got their no. but no one answers at the moment. Will keep calling. It is in Lam Tsuen and is very close to our village as well. Tks a lot.

My pleasure although speaking from experience I would prefer joining such groups when the kids are say 1.5 years old when they are mobile and more able to understand. I am a playgroup teacher for kids aged 1 year and above and find it quite a challenge even then, fun though!

Dear Shaz, tks for yr honest comments. My husband is not keen on sending our baby to any playgroup yet because he thinks she is too young. As you said, he said at least a year old. Guess I better wait then. Thank you and I am very happy to find Early Birds.
