have a look at cakesbysue.com (she's based in Discovery Bay)

she's made several cakes for me in the past and they not only look great, but taste fantastic too!

we've had a spiderman, a 3D puppy (awesome! looked so geed didn't want to cut it!), and one of the flower ones...but they're all great and she's got pictures of many that she can do on her website!

    Megan,

Even D had a Barney party for his 2nd birthday. All the cake stores can do Barney : The Cake Factory, Party Caramba, Complete Deelite. They are listed here:

    Barney Cake

We had a really good Barney Cake made for our daughter's first birthday by someone called Hillary (can't remember surname). She has several designs but best talk to her directly so see what you want. I have her contact number if you're interested........

    Hi Mong,

We organized D birthday at a club. They had a great outdoor playground (although it rained and was a bit wet) and a bouncy castle. So the kids got to run around quite a bit. We also put colouring sheets/crayons and bubble bottles on each table. We didn't organise any games, but in hind-sight I should have had a couple, maybe pass the parcel or a musical game. Don't bother calling Barney as half the kids want to attack him :lovedface and the other half are in tears. We went to another party where the birthday boy was hysterical so Barney stood outside for most of the party.

There's a lot of Barney decorations in the party stores. Limit the party to 2 hours otherwise its too exhausting for everyone. Will write more later.
