Question Part time maid

Where can I find legal and good part time maid service? for cleaning, ironing, maybe cooking. Appreciate any recommendations.

for perfectly legal you can call santa fe or crown, they offer maid service on part-time basis, though more expensive than the alternative which is looking at ads posted at supermarkets by helpers looking for part-time work. don't kow how legal they are though.

Thank you.

I've used Merry Maids but their hours are very restrictive. Every time has to be 4 hours also. However, their standards are satisfactory.

I got my part time helper through the labour department (23174567 / 28663256). She is Hong Konger, can only speak Mandarin and Cantonese and no English at all. However, when you call up the department, you can request for an English speaking helper. It will be harder to get one but not impossible. I pay HKD 50 per hour and have to buy insurance (HKD 300 per year). The department is very good because they will follow up and will change the helper for you if you are not happy with her. They trained the helper and act as an agent between the employer and the helper. No agency fee involved. I have the helper in twice a week and each time is about 4 to 5 hours. She does all the cleaning and sometimes babysitting for us when we go out at night. She is good and I am very happy with her so far.
