My son's dermatologist advised us not use softener on my son's clothes, so we don't put any on his clothes.

We changed from whatever the local shop had to Comfort Pure after our daughter developed a bit of a rash. It is packaged in white, is hypoallergenic and the rash disappeared as soon as we made the change. Our Dr mentioned that fabric softeners are very frequently the source of allergy/dermatitis rashes and he was right.
