    Eco-Ball

    Hello !

Has someone heard about these eco-ball or better use them : http://www.ecozone.co.uk/product_inf...roducts_id=314 ?

I'm going to use washable nappies and to be logical, I was looking for environmentally friendly washing powder when I saw that.

    Thanks,

My mother sent me something similar a few years ago. Mine were green plastic balls with spikes all over them. It said on the packing that each would last for 100 washes. But if fact I found that they only managed about 5 washes. I’m not sure what I did wrong but I’ve wondered it they were meant for twin tubs rather than automatics. My automatic, especially the 95 degrees cotton wash I used for washing the cloth nappies was nearly 2 hours long. I advise reading the small print well to see what sort of washing machine they are designed for.
    Best wishes,
    SARAH

    Hello !

    Thanks for your answer.

I think that you are talking about these : http://www.21stcenturyhealth.co.uk/aquaball.asp ? It does look like the same things to me...

I have found the eco-ball at Natural healing shop in Causeway Bay(http://www.naturalhealing.com.hk/index.php), and I wanted to give it a try, but it is about 580HK$, so I don't want to waste them just like that also...

Since not so many people seems to know about it... I guess that I will have to think about it a little bit more...

    Thanks,
