Where can I buy a birth ball?

Thinking of bringing my own birth ball to the hospital (the nurse said it's ok) - but where can I find one? Thanks! :)

Then maybe I should avoid buying that brand / buying from that same store...? Benjy, do you happen to remember what store it was from? Thanks!

i had bought one that i havn't used at all. i bought to use in the hospital but then found out my hospital would provide it to me to use during my labour so i didn't end up using mine. i would sell you mine for $100 if you'r interested at all?

i still have the box, but it never came with a pump.

you can order a ball from Streamline Pilates. They will recommend the right size for you. It takes anywhere from a few days to 1 week to get a ball. You can e-mail them at info@streamline.hk.

Mamamau,
I couldn't tell you the brand anymore but it just had to do with the fact that my first daughter was too thrilled to play with the ball (we had it ready a few days before birth already!) and she just pinned it...and with my 'weight' afterwards, it just didn't make it!!

but maybe can you check with the hospital if they can provide you with one as mamalicious mentioned it?
for me, it was only for home as I only wanted to go to hospital at the last moment.
when is your DD?

Thanks a lot for the suggestions and offer - I happened to bump into a shop in Sheung Wan the other day and bought one already. For anyone interested, the shop is called "Fitness Sports" and the ball cost $350.

(Adventist doesn't provide birth balls...)
