I Think it would be a good idea to see a Doctor. She should rest , have plenty of fluids and mabe some paracetamol for the fever.

When I was pregnant and caught the flu, I called my obs. and I think certain medicines are ok. Best check with your doctor.

I think your wife should see a doctor ASAP. A doctor told me most flu medicine are safe for pregnant women, the most common being paracetamol.

Hello

Hii clock
Well you have taken a good decision of not giving any medication to your wife without the advice of the doctor
If she wants to take any medication like Amantadine which is used for the treatment of certain types of flu, she cant take it as thse medications are strictly taken under the doctors supervision when one is pregnant
So its better that you take her to a doctor if she wants to take any medication

I was suffering from flu at the beginning of my pregnancy (first month) and at the end of my pregnancy (9th month). The doctor gave me some medication which according to the doctor was safe to take. I took some but not much because I worried that the medicine would affect my baby. I drank lots of water, lemon with honey drink, hot milk and honey drink and ginger water. My daughter is one year old now.
