So far I have had three ultrasounds (I am 14 weeks today). 8 weeks, 10 weeks, and 12 weeks (nuchial fold test). So many scans because I moved here between weeks 8 and 10 and wanted to meet my new Dr asap. I've read in quite a few places that the scans have not been found harmful to baby. I'll bet that they help because they help nervous mom's to relax a bit.

Have we decided on a coffee venue for Thursday? Perhaps Pacific Coffee Company on Hollywood Road? I can be there at about 3:45 to gather some seats.

So 3 u/s during the first trimester is just right, thought i have a lot ;-)

I'm free at 3:45 on Thursday for coffee, or make that vanilla drink, can only stay a couple of hours though.

Thanks Bets & Gift Queen for your warm wishes. Had the scan yesterday and everything seems to be going well. The scan quality / picture was not very good. Will probably try another doctor for a 3D / 4D scan later on.
Gift Queen - good luck with your tests on Friday. I'm sure it will all go well for you.
Meeting up would be great, but perhaps we should change the day as Gift Queen can't make it. I would love to see most of the original group there again.

We can have it this Friday so giftqueen can join us. Actually i have a class on Thursday night, so i have to be in a hurry if we push thru on Thursday.

Have you had your nuchal scan, xox? what's the size? mine is 1.1, doctor says it's normal though i want to know other's number. He said below 1.5 is okay.

btw Matty, the ginger drink with lemon does helps ease the nauseaous a bit ... thanks for that !

Hi Guys,

Sorry I have been a bit slack as social secretary this week, but we've had visitors and I've been flat out!
As it's late notice how about sticking with the Thursday afternoon this week as there seems to be a few that can make this.

next week we should go back to Friday as it seems better for most. Would people prefer lunch or afternoon?
