Phantom pregnancy??
Same thing happened to me too. I was positive I was pregnant this cycle (have been ttc-ing for almost 6 months and no, I don't feel pregnant every cycle!) because I felt queasy, bloated, gassy, exhausted, and had skin breakouts and sore bbs to boot. CM was just... well let's just say, abundant... Turns out it was just late period after all.
I'm totally confused now... took several HPT at 11, 13 and 15 dpo and they all say -ve, but surely I couldn't have imagined all the symptoms and convinced my body to react like I was pregnant? After this, I really don't know whether I can trust my body's instincts anymore, for they were surely off the mark... :(

Rads,
Was the test you took in the hospital a blood test or urine? I took a blood test about a week ago which would of been 13 days after conception and it was negative. I still feel horrible and my baby is only three months so i remember clearly how it feels to be preggers, I have just stopped breastfeeding due to her bad reflux so am a little worried! Could of that blood test been wrong? was it to early to tell?

My period is 11 days late. I have no preg symptoms such as breasts pain, tireness... but my temperature remains high. Anyway, I haven't had the urine test yet as I'm afraid of disppointment.

you're going to be just as disappointed if your period comes...taking the test will only let you know one way or the other.
the other thing is, the sooner you take a test, the sooner you can start taking care of yourself.
good luck!
ps. i think that blood tests are usually pretty accurate...

I have heard of the blood tests being negative too, though it's rare!
Diane, how are you going now? Yes you need to wait till your period's due, then take a test. It's hard to be patient with these things, every day seems like a week! I know what it's like, but if you can bear to wait, it's more likely to get a correct answer the longer you wait (well, up to a point).

I had the urine test. The result is positive. I cannot believe it myself. What should I do next?
