Does anyone know how to find a Cantonese- or Mandarin-speaking DH that will live-out (would consider live-in if abs necessary). Are there any agencies or websites that specialize in this type of DH? I suppose this means either a HK resident or someone from Mainland China.

I called the Methodist Centre a couple of years ago when I was in between helpers. They faxed me the application form. The min wage for full time Chinese helper was quite expensive.

The Labour Department maintains a web page to search for local domestic helpers.

You have to register before you can search, but it's free.

You can then set search criteria by language spoken, years of experience, salary, etc.
