    Baby haircut place???

Anyone know a good place to take your baby for a haircut. My boy's hair is soooo long that I really need to take him for a hairdresser. I've already tried to take him to a adult hairdresser, but it didn't workout... see my boy is really hyper so he can't sit still for a second... needs a lot of distractions and a really FAST hairdresser...

Can anyone recommend a good one?

    Thanks!

Oh, he's almost one year old...

    Hi,

You're in TST. There is a kid's salon in Toys R Us in Ocean Terminal. They've got lots of toys and DVDs to keep yr little boy entertained. They charge around $250-300.

    Hi
I agree with Rani. The place in Toys R Us is great. Tony the hairdresser is very gentle and my son loves visiting him for his haircut. It's worth the extra money to avoid any screaming fits.

you can try Magic Mirror in Caroline Centre, Causeway Bay. There are kids' videos, carousel horses for distractions. There is an article in this month's Playtimes magazine on childrens' hair that you may want to check out.

Got my Playtimes today. Magic Mirror which is in Toys R Us and Causeway Bay charge $320 for boys and $350 for girls.

I have to confess, I take D to a Chinese salon. We take our own DVDs, which they don't mind playing and they charge $60.

oh boy... that's a bit over our budget... All I'm looking for is a sort of child friendly place and a person who does the cutting is fast and likes kids... I guess I'll have to try to come up with something else.. .But thanks a lot for your replies...

I know they have one at Lok Fu (one station after Kowloon Tong) at second floor Jusco Mall.
It is a chinese salon with baby car chair and only cost around HKD 68

I've seen a lot of places with the cars. Look around in the malls near where you live. I've seen two of these near where I live. My son loves sitting in the car and ask a more senior person for the haircut...they usually are faster and more gentle with kids.
