Phil & Teds e3 Double Stroller

Hi,
I am researching what options I got for purchasing a double stroller. I have a 11 month old and expect a seconde child later this year.

Does anyone have a Double Stroller from Phil & Teds e3? Can you recommend it? Is it convenient to use and does your child like to sit at the backseat? Hope to get some helpful reviews. Thanks.

Hi,

I don't have a Phil and Teds but my friends in Australia do and they rave about it. It seems as though it folds down quite compactly so it should be easy to get into cabs. The sling seat underneath for babies seems to be great for newborns - they sleep for ages in it.

I hope this helps

hi,

fyi - my sister-in-law in NZ was using a P&T double stroller for about 11 months when #2 was born and her first child was 2.5 years old. While it's very convenient, when the younger one starts wanting to have a better view of what's going around, things got a bit difficult with lots of protesting from the younger one. They have recently bought a P&T side by side double stroller so both youngs ones are very happy to be able to "see" and communicate with one another!

Hi Sumei,
thanks for your helpful input. That's a good point the child sitting at the back has not such a good view. The thing is only I can not see myself pushing a double stroller (side by side) here in HK. It will be difficult to get around...just thinking of some of the narrow elevators.

Hi Salzi
my 4-yr and 2-yr babies enjoys riding on their double stroller side by side,
or else they can both comfortably sleep there.

It's not so bulky as i imagined, can even move around quite easily.
it could even get in some narrow elevator, say the one in Tai Wai KCR
it's easy to fold and open. Of course you can't expect any compact result

It's Italian brand - Peperago ? model - Avia Twins HK$ 2,800+
May be you can also consider mine - second hand but quite new
since my 2-yr started full day nursery one month after we bought it
Now, they want to either RUN or go around by cycles, not stroller
