Bel Air - phase 1 or 2 any difference?

Hi

We are moving out to HK in August (son will be 1 year by then), and have been on an apartment finding mission while in HK last month.

We are thinking about Bel Air, but was wondering if anyone had any views on whether phase 1 or phase 2 is better (or in fact if there is any difference at all!)? We have decided against phase 3 because of the building works that look set to continue for apparently years.

Thanks

Kat & Indy

Bel Air Phase 1 or Phase 2

If you are moving to Hong Kong by August, I think Phase 1 would be better

Hi, I live in Phase 2 and honestly can't imagine that it would make any real difference whether you choose phase 1 or 2, especially regarding the time of year....I know phase 2 has better kitchen appliances - that's about it really. Phase 1 looks over the pool, phase 2 over the water and the area in process of being landscaped, however it's very quiest now, no more digging. Just choose the apartment you like - I wouldn't concern myself over which phase 1 or 2.

There are only a few flats occupied in Phase 3. Still lots of construction going on, lots of workers and expect it will be noisy during the day.

Phase 5 (the construction next to phase 3 - no phase 4, unlucky I think!) is due to be finished in 2008, plus the outdoor pool at phase 3 will not be opened until this time either!!!!

Bel Air

We are moving to HK the end of July and previously toured Bel Air. I loved the apartments, the facilities, location, etc. however one of my concerns of living there with a very curious 2 1/2 year old boy are the balconies. Can anyone tell me how you handle the balconies and keeping your children from going on them?

Also, we looked at Residence Bel Air - is that tower 3 or what is the difference in Bel Air and Residence Bel Air?

Thanks.
