    Breast pumps

    Hi there,
I'm a working mum and I bought a Nuk electric mini breast pump so that I can pump everyday at work. It died on my today !!!!! and it only lasted 3 months ! Which electric breast pump is good to buy ? I'd like a small one as I need to carry it to work everyday and also I'll be traveling with it. Plus all my bottles are Nuk brand bottles. Does the pumps fit onto the Nuk bottles ? Thanks !

The Medela electric pump work with the Nuk bottles, they sell them in Mothercare, its small, so convenient if you need to travel with it.

I used the Medela Electric too. Loved it! They are fragile. I dropped mine on the floor over the weekend and the motor stopped working. Had to rush to B2B to get another.

I rented a big one (hospital sized) from that company on Nathan Road. I would then bring it home on the weekends. It could do both breasts at one time.

I also had a mini-electric. Lent it to a friend. She used it for the first baby. It broke on second baby and after that she just used a manual pump.

I have a Medela mini electric too and it got me through the early days.

However I got it out the other day to express some milk and the motor died!

I don't have the receipt as my Mum bought it for me from Watsons in the city when my son was first born.

Does anyone know my chances of getting a replacement motor???

    HKAussie,

I think the Pumps are under warranty. Not sure for how long.

    More about Meridien.

They will also deliver the big pump that you rent to your home (or at least they did home delivery back in 1998).
