We'll be moving to HK at the end of June for my husband's job and will be living at Bel Air Phase 2 Tower 8. Our daughter will be attending 1st grade at HKIS and I'll be taking the summer off to get settled before I start looking for a job. So I was wondering if there are any HKIS mums and kids out there who'd be interested in meeting up for playdates once we get moved in?

There shouldn't be any problem for you to meet up new parents who lives there. Literally, the children and mums meet up on the garden everyday.
