Hi all I am thinking of doing a renewal of contract for my Indonesian helper - if possible without going through the agencies. Has anyone done this?

The Indonesian Consulate can be quite difficult. You can try your luck. Get the green contract forms from immigration and see if they'll accept it.

If you go through the agencies, do try and make sure that they don't take money from your helper.
