Restaurants with highchairs in Hong Kong??

I have noticed hardly ANY restaurants (at least the ones we frequent) in Hong Kong have highchairs. We live on the South side and spend most of our time here and in Central area. Can anyone recommend restuarants that are kid-friendly with HIGHCHAIRS (except for Dan Ryans)? Crazy that this would dictate where we eat, but it is dreadful trying to hold a one-year old all through a meal. Where I come from this is unheard of. Thanks!

We tend to go to the Peak, either Cafe Deco or the Peak Lookout. In Central there's Madisons. The Pacific Coffee in the IFC also has a highchair. Then cafes/resturants in any of the major hotels. I often go to the Shangri-La Cafe to feed my son when we are out shopping in Pacific Place. The other bonus about going to the big hotels is that they usually have excellent and really clean baby changing facilities.

I've found that the few places that do have highchairs rarely have adequate seat/safety straps. I always carry our own set and then if we can't get a highchair I can use them to strap him onto a regular dining chair.

you can invest in a safety first portable booster seat when the baby is a little bit older...
it straps around the base of the seat, the back of the seat and then also around baby...

i found that my boyhad a hard time sitting in until until he was about 10 months or so...

I am selling the first years travel booster seat. It is a great buy. Only asking 100. You can stash it anywhere, it is not big at all...If you are not interested in that, we usually go to Fat Angelos in soho, with our kids.....or Outback in Causeway Bay...Good Luck... Call me if interested...you can look on the website...www.thefirstyears.com, and get more infor on the seat...63464190, Maria
