    Baby's stomach

My new baby (she's 19 days' old) has feeds (formula) every 3 or 4 hours. She's currently drinking 120ml over a 45 minute feed. I noticed that her stomach is very big after each feed and am quite concerned. Is a baby's stomach/waist usually bigger (about 1.5 times the size her upper body) than usual?

Yes it is. Baby's stomach is always bigger. Nothing to worry about.

Many thanks for your advice. Really appreciate it. It is really worrying as being a first-time mother, I am really quite stressed out as my baby does not seem to be sleeping well. Thanks so much for your reassurance!
