    Yeah, I believe it is. I used it and wasn't diligent every day but I think it did help a little. I didn't get an episiotomy because I was pretty determined not to. We also did the perineal massage during pregnancy and during the labour (the midwife did it during the pushing part). I did tear a little, but it was also when I kept pushing when I should have slowed down when the midwife told me to. Only first degree though so it wasn't too bad.

    The epi-no was brilliant for both my kids, no episiotomy and no stitches.

    We also did the perineal massage during 1st pregnancy and during the labour and no stitches needed. We were advised to use ALMOND OIL (available on health stores) I never heard of epi-no..............Good Luck
