    Angry Teething problems

My baby is the happiest chappy normally, but he suffers terribly from teething. At 10 months he has 7 teeth (last one came through 3 days ago) and the 8th is on its way already. He is nearly panicly rubbing his ears, nose, eyes and gums..it affects his sleeping as well...wakes up so many times crying and doing the 'rubbing' thing. Doctors have confirmed that he is totally healthy. I am giving him 4 ml of Ibuprofein at bedtime...started off with Panadol but was told not to continue with it for too long. He is getting teething rusks, teething toys etc but the real problem is the night time pain. Both the baby and the parents are really getting exhausted from not being able to sleep properly.
Does anyone have any magic tricks how to ease teething symptoms???

have you tried homeopathy? there are some natural herbs & homeopathy that helps. I'm not sure which one does, but i've heard they're really good. Can try to bring baby to Dr. Stuart Bradshaw, or if you're brave enough, go online to check. homeopathy is very safe, no side effects.

I found Hylands teething tablets to work a treat - totally natural. We got ours in the US. If you know someone who can send you a pack, they weigh almost nothing.

    Joannek and Kashismum,

Thanks a lot for your tips. I have not yet tried homepathy but will certainly try now!!
    Cheers.
