Formula Recommendations?
Thinking of starting to wean my baby from breastfeeding. She is 6 months in age.
Any recommendations on which formulas to use? Many of the formula websites are in chinese (ie: wyeth). If anyone has good recommendations from Canada, I can get these imported from family over there as well.
Thanks,
Lisa

are you wanting an Organic formula?
I'm from the UK (so different brands to Canada) but used Cow n Gate, which is available at Bumps to Babes. It is a reputable brand that's been used in the UK for donkeys years. We then switched to Babynat, which is an organic formula. You can get that in Bumps to Babes too. When in the UK we used to use the Cow n Gate Organic too, but they don't seem to stock that one in Bumps to Babes, so we use Babynat here.

Most of us in our babyroup introduced Enfapro A+ after breastfeeding. One of our Drs told us it was similar to breastmilk.

thanks a lot Kimmi. Was thinking abou that too! I hope it works this time. Was very frustrated about not being able to breastfeed for the first one and promised myself that i will work harder next time around.

Dear MickeyMom,
Many of the mothers who have been to La Leche League meetings have been able to breastfeed second babies when their first child was bottle fed. Indeed many of the seven mothers who founded La Leche League (50 years ago this month) were unable to breastfeed their first babies.
Accurate information, engorgement and support are important to successfully breastfeed. We hope to offer all three at our meetings. It is advisable to come to the meetings while you are still pregnant. (Forewarned is forearmed!)
