Besides this company, any other good party entertainers for 2 years old kid? I would like to find one for my daughter's Christmas party... thanks a lot!

Have seen the Arabella entertainers at quite a few parties. They hire young adults 18-20, who are home for the holidays or on a gap year. Some are quite good and great with kids. However, they do have a high turnover of entertainers. The format is pretty standard; party games, magic show, cake cutting etc. A lot of 2 year olds are afraid of seeing their favorite characters, Elmo and Barney live. I juist find $1800-2000 expensive for an hour show

i've asked a friend who just had a good entertainer for her boy's first birthday. turns out hers was Arabella's as well. but good to note Rani's comment on turnover, you don't know which entertainer you're gonna get.

    rani,

Why would the 2 years old afraid to see Elmo & Barney live? I thought my daughter will enjoy them, that's why i am looking at Arabella's...may be the kids just used to seeing their favorite characters on TV...

Thanks a lot for your advice!

    fatping1,

i think the adult size of those characters are too big for a kid at the age around 1-3yr old.. the disney's characters scared my son, espeically when those characters were moving.

by the way, are you the fatping which i knew with a baby girl who was born in apr 05?

I remember my niece cried when the Teletubbies came to her 2nd bday. Another friend hired Barney for her son's 2nd bday and the child was so upset that Barney stood outside for most of the party.

Mocha, we had the same problem at Disneyland. D refused to take a picture with Goofy last year and he was 3.
