My 9 month old baby girl usually goes to bed between 7-8pm...By the time 7 pm comes around, she gets really tired and it isn't long before she is sleeping for the rest of the night..

I put my baby girl down around 7 ish (7:15 - 7:30) and she messes around in her cot and wants to play with her a little before she drops off. It's been getting later & later now and she usually is asleep by 8. I'm happy with this as I have the rest of the evening with my hubby !

My husband works quite late every night, coming home around 9:30 pm. So I like my daughter to sleep late so they can play with each other for a while. He also manages another hour before leaving for work in the morning. If she went to bed earlier they would only see each other on Sundays.

My almost 9 mth baby boy has always gone to bed at 10:45pm to 1:30am. What can I do? He just cries and cries, if I try to make him sleep earlier. Help!

Anna what time does he wake up in the morning?

What time are his naps? One way to make his bedtime earlier is to cut out the afternoon nap, or make it much earlier so he's more tired at around 7-8.

    Anna,

Do you have a bedtime routine?
A bath, a message, softly singing or music, looking at books or pictures together?

If not it might be worth thinking of introducing one. For some ideas look at this thread, Starting a feeding schedule

If you already have such a routine, try bringing it forward slowly – maybe by five minutes each day. The best way is to bring the bath forward and continue to be relaxed with all the other activities. If your baby shows signs of being too awake with the move forward keep the bath time stable for a few days and then start bringing it forward again.

This method takes two weeks at the quickest to move the bedtime forward an hour. But slow and steady seems to work better than quicker methods.
    (Just like dieting!)

    Best wishes,
    SARAH

    Anna,
My baby girl almost turn 10 months now, and her bed time is the same as your boy. I try to put her to bed earlier, but it doesn't really work.
She usually gets up at 10 or 11 am. Some time she will gets up at 8 or 9am.
If you guys baby go to bed at 7 or 8 pm, what time do they gets up?
