Junk Trip

My baby is 11 months old, and we've just been invited by friends to go on a junk trip. Has anyone had any experiences that they can share, or any tips ? Would appreciate some feedback. Thanks !

We took our son on a junkl trip when he was about 18 months. Not a success, I'm afraid. He wailed the whole day long and it was thoroughly miserable for everyone (he's fine on ferries). But, there was another child about 9 or 10 months old and he was fine. I heard it's something to do with balance and starting to walk. Maybe if the child is just being held the whole time then it's ok?

Would like to bring my kids to experience the Junk trip. May I know how to take junk trip? What's the website or telephone numbers I can get info on timing and location to take?

Coco, If you don't mind holding your baby the entire trip, you should be ok. Take a sling/carrier. I avoided doing so with mine as she's a wriggler and it would be a nightmare for me.

Secretsquirrel, there are a number of companies from whom you can hire a junk, including Jaspas who do all on-board catering. Or, wait for an invitation onto someone else's corporate junk. Getting a bit chilly for it now, though.
