Looking for a daycare center for my 4 month old son. Will be leaving Hong Kong by the end of this year so am not interested in contracting a domestic helper. Anyone have advice?

there are a few gov't daycare centres around. i have no idea what the facilities are like or what the staff situation is. (ie. training, languages spoken, cost, waiting list, locations etc) you can try them. they are listed under the social welfare dept. you may have a very difficult time
as for not being interested in having a helper, you may decide it's the easiest thing to do, even if you are not around for the full two years. keep your mind open to all of the possibilities. many of us didn't want full time help either, to start with. but in the end, the cost of full time help worked out to be cheaper than other alternatives.
