bedside cots
Hello,
My husband and I have been mulling over whether to get a bedside cot or a normal cot together with a moses basket.....I know that moses baskets will not last very long.
I would be grateful for any feedback of using bedside cots - advantages and disadvantages.

With my first, we put her in the moses basket in our room for the first 5 months of her life. Then we moved her to a crib in her own room. I plan to do the same thing with the second one.

We also used a moses basket until the children outgrew it (at about 4 months). We gave it away (were not planning a third). Now we are looking at the Arms Reach Co-sleeper (armsreach.com) in the hope that it might allow us some more sleep and give us a few more months so that No. 3 can move into no. 2's cot. Has anyone used it? If so, what did you think? Thanks

Mothercare sells a cot that has one side which folds under - this way the cot can be a bedside cot, as well as a regular cot.
