My doctor told me that because it's not a 'live' vaccine it doesn't really impact on trying to conceive. However, you do need to make sure you are not pregnant when you actually have the injections. I ended up missing the window for one of my injections because I needed to wait and see if I was pregnant. Maybe it's these timing issues your doctor was thinking of? Better to ask him/her for clarification, of course.

Just on the topic, I was asked to get my first jab now even though I started going to a FS and hoping to get a BFP soon... my doc said the vaccine didn't interefer with pregnancy and could in fact be helpful once in hospital for delivery - I think there were some cases of hep B being passed onto patients in HK hospitals?

the vaccine won't interfere with pregnancy but if you do get pregnant after your first jab, u cannot continue taking the second and third jab.
