I got the Graco playpen, very convenient! My baby napped in it for almost 6 months. I got it from Toys R Us. it was quite cheap. I think I paid $599 or something.

I had the Chicco playpen, cost about $1500, cannot remember the exact price. the good part of this brand is bigger size than other brand regular sell in Hongkong.
My apartment is not so big, the maid will open up the playpen and the floor mat during the day. So that the apartment will turn to the baby playground during the day. And she put back everything after baby go to sleep at night, then become the adult living room.
which brand or model really up to your budget, doesn't matter, as long as it is safe construction and safe material for baby.

We also got the Graco with the bassinet which baby slept in during the day until he was 6 months. Now we just let him sit in it to play under supervision but soon we shall have to take the bassinet out and use it as a proper playpen.

I am currently looking for a playpen too. Eugene's and Bumps to Babes have them. I am going to get the one at Bumps to Babes that looks like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Kettler-Kids-6..._tdp_sa_edpp_i

They seem to have the best selection and ones that are not too scary.
