Free playrooms
Hi,
Not many expats are aware that the HK government run free playrooms for toddlers in various places around Hong Kong. They are a bit sparse - not many toys - but are clean and functional, good for a rainy/hot day. And free!
For locations look on the local government website under sports and services. My nearly two year old loves them !

Ladies
I think you should check out this link from the HK govt's Leisure and Cultural Services Dept.:

Thank you, Anne, for pointing this out!

I phoned one up in my area and they said it was really only suitable for 4-9 year olds.

I would say that holds for the one in MOS. Perhaps even younger than that. It has a lot of soft things that kids can climb on, run over and rough-house with. This one is pretty large, but is standing room only on weekends; they issue tickets to get in when it is that crowded.

My son goes to the local playroom most days - he loves it. I think 4-7 is the age range if they are unaccompanied, but under that age is fine (my son is 2). Agree that it gest crowded at the weekends, and then sometimes there are bigger children so it gets a bit rough, but basically it's clean, it's fun, it's free. Perfect.

Hello everybody, I've recently returned to HK after 7 years. Though I'm familiar with HK I now have a 2.5 year old. I live on Robinson Road across from Robinson Place, I was wondering if anyone knows whether people other than Robinson Place residents are able to use their facilities? Perhaps at a cost? If not can anyone suggest some indoor playrooms, facilities such as swimming pools and play area within Mid Levels. I just don't have anywhere to go with him! He's a busy little boy and amazingly he's very happy to be at home but I get bored so I want to be able to do things with him. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Jeslynne
